1967 MK1 Manual Ute-White. Owned for Approx 6 years.
Paint is in Gleaming Two Pack White...Tray interior in Spackle finish with stained timber rub rails and Dark Blue Tonneau cover.
Metal Sunvisor fitted. Factory Towbar fitted. New chrome on Bumper & Bumperettes.
Dark Blue Fabric Bench seat with Blue door trim and MKII Door Pockets.
Phillips AM/FM Stereo tuner/cassette player with four speakers in doors/footwell sides.
"Brant" Fully featured Alarm System with Keyless entry.
"Performance" Brand Mag Wheels (4 look alike Minilites) with nearly new P215/65R14 96H Bridgestone Tyres.
Motor has been fully reconditioned by Graeme Lord Automotive (ph 02 4283 6076) at approx. 20,000 klm ago and has a MKII Gas-flow Head, Twin SU carbs and MGB cam, Stainless Steel Extractors and Stainless Steel Exhaust fitted with Jaguar E type muffler (sounds very nice).
This motor breathes very well up high, yet pulls extremely well.
Gold Seal gearbox and new Clutch recently fitted and has a Saloon diff. for effortless cruising.
Air Horns fitted, as well as Electronic Ignition, Alternator and MotoLita Steering wheel.

FOR SALE 1971 Austin 1800 Utility
PUL-588 Registered until February 2005.
The car was owned by the original owner from new until about 6 years ago.
It was then purchased by a local builder who restored it to present condition which is about 75% complete.
It has the original engine which was rebuilt a few years ago and extractors were fitted to enhance performance.
The car can be driven in auto or manual gear system (currently running as a manual) also has original Queensland plates.

Regrettably I had to sell my 1966 Austin 1800 Mk I that was undergoing restoration.
There are some rare and even New Old Stock (NOS) items that were to be fitted to my car that are now for sale. There are also many second hand parts available.
Most items are for the Mk I but there are a few items for the Mk II and some Mk I items will fit the Mk II as well.
New rubber all around, 10 months rego (Victoria) and heaps of spares including 2 heaters, chrome strips, front and rear windscreens, radiators, bumper bars, 4 airbags and small interior things.
Have the original driver's handbook and a copy of shop manual.
Will sell as whole or part out.

KIMBERLEY PARTS FOR SALE
I have a wide range of used and some new Kimberley parts including 4 or 5 cars good for wrecking.
Parts are too numerous to mention in detail but if you want it I can probably supply it. Parts include doors, body panels, cylinder heads, engine parts, interior trim, seats, remoulded demister vents, window winders (same as Mk II 1800) instrument clusters, indicator switches, radiators, grilles, new tail lights and front indicator/parking lights, thermostat housings, radiators, displacers, front discs/rotors, body mouldings, ignition switches, road wheels 5" x 14". (1800 wheels are 4.5" x 14".)
Most parts are on a property at Putty, three hours north of Sydney. Can probably arrange delivery of most to Sydney at some stage in the future. Whatever I don't need for my own use or can't sell will be going to the tip so if you want anything now is the chance to to grab what you can. Once I confirm that part is available can advise reasonable price.

18/85 Power Steering
Power steering set up ex 18/85.
Parts comprise
a) Steering column
b) Steering rack
c) Generator with power steering pump and fluid reservoir
d) Hoses
Power steering was overhauled about 10 years ago by Penshurst Power Steering in Sydney. Car was taken off road unexpectedley a few months later and power steering removed from vehicle and stored in garage since. I do not know if seals etc need to be changed or any other reconditioning is needed after virtually no use but lengthy storage. Currently located in Melbourne.Will transport to Sydney for Sydney buyer.
I am told that power steering will fit Mk11 1800 as steering geometry is same as for UK power steer cars whereas Mk1's have different upper suspension arms therefore is not interchangeable with Mk1.

AS FROM 1st JULY 2006 THE LOCA SPARE PARTS SCHEME HAS CEASED TO OPERATE IN ITS PRESENT FORM.
LOCA will no longer have a stock of spare parts and parts that LOCA re-manufactures e.g. bushes, engine mounts, Z9 adaptors etc. They will only be available on special order, with a lead time of one month. Parts will also have to be paid for at the time of ordering. Changeover parts will not be supplied until receipt of the changeover part.
The following parts are still available while they last:

Urethane Engine Mounts rear only, $A50 each.
Mk I Front Indicator/Parking light assembly $A35 each.

I have an 1970 1800 mk2 for sale in good condition, it is Amber in color and has an automatic transmission. Engine and tranny has been rebuilt some 10,000 miles ago. Interior is in good condition, 4 near new tyres, larger cradles with bigger displacers at the rear. Pre-engaged starter motor. Some spares included including: torque converter, inertia starter motor , alternator, cast iron water pump and manifold for twin SU’s with a modified exhaust manifold to suit.
Grab one of these top quality signs for your wonderful classic Landcrab. They are great to take along to car club meetings or simply hang one in your garage or driveway.
These are quality painted steel signs and are far nicer than some of the signs you see that are made from plastic, with stick on lettering.
